After the successful launch of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach back in June, Sony is turning its attention to the next big PS5 exclusive of the year.
A follow-up to the superb Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei is an action-adventure game with an October 2 release date.
With the release date still a few months away, Sony is attempting to build the hype by hosting a special Ghost of Yotei State of Play event in July.
The Ghost of Yotei State of Play will take place at 10pm BST UK time on the evening of July 10.
To ensure you don't miss a second of the action, you can actually watch the entire thing live by clicking play on the YouTube video below.
According to Sony, the Ghost of Yotei State of Play event will run for around 20 minutes. PlayStation 5 gameplay will be introduced by creative directors Jason Connell and Nate Fox.
Fans can expect a closer look at the new location and environments contained within. Likewise, expect a look at some of the new and improved combat and abilities.
"Our State of Play features nearly 20 minutes of Ghost of Yotei gameplay hosted by Sucker Punch's Creative Directors, Jason Connell and Nate Fox," Sony explains.
"Beyond sharing more about Atsu's quest for vengeance, we're excited to show off her new weapons, new ways to personalise your journey at the edge of Japan, new special modes, and much more."
Ghost of Yotei is a follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima, although it's not a direct sequel.
Instead, it takes place over 300 years after the events of its predecessor, and in the new location of Ezo.
The lead character Atsu will seek vengeance on the bandits who killed her family and left her for dead.
"Become a different kind of ghost and witness a bold new story set against the stunning backdrop of northern Japan's rugged landscapes," reads the official description.
"Her quest across Ezo will take her to unexplored lands as she seeks out a gang of six outlaws. Along the way, she'll encounter far more than she could have wagered for at the journey's outset. Help her find unlikely allies, forge lasting bonds and build a path towards healing and redemption."
