
Dozens of firefighters are responding to a blaze in Sidcup, southeast London, as smoke is seen billowing from a property on Blackfen Road. The fire was first reported by the London Fire Brigade on X at around 1.20pm.
It has been confirmed that 12 fire engines and around 80 firefighters, from Eltham, Lee Green, Sidcup, East Greenwich and surrounding stations, were sent to the scene on Blackfen Road. The cause of the fire is not yet known and locals are being urged to keep their doors and windows closed.
