Samsung's latest Crystal UHD smart TV model has hit a record low price, exceeding all shopper expectations. The 43" Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV is now available on Amazon for just £249, down from its original price of £319.
This means shoppers can save £70 or 22%, with similar discounts also available on the larger 50" (£299) and 55" (£349) models. These versions were launched earlier this year as the newest additions to Samsung's affordable Crystal UHD range, reports Devon Live.
Each model is powered by a crystal processor that enhances image quality to 4K UHD resolution, delivering colours that are more 'natural and true-to-life', and four times as many pixels as a Full HD device. This Samsung model also boasts High Dynamic Range (HDR), providing more depth and detail in both lighter and darker images.
The Crystal UHD TV from Samsung also uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve non-4K content, along with Object Tracking Sounds Lite that follows the action on screen for a more immersive viewing experience. The device runs on the Tizen operating system and offers easy access to streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and BBC iPlayer. A plethora of TV series and films can also be enjoyed at no extra cost with the Samsung TV Plus service.
This 2025 edition of the Crystal UHD TV was unveiled in May, featuring a sleek 'MetalStream' design with a slim and seamless profile crafted from a single sheet of metal. Samsung's Crystal range is being promoted as offering 'sharp 4K resolution at an attractive price', providing stiff competition to other budget-friendly brands such as Hisense.
Argos offers a variety of Hisense models, including the 43" 43E6NTUK Smart 4K UHD Freely TV, currently at its 'lowest price' ever of £189.
For those who prefer to pay monthly for their gadgets, there's the new Sky Glass Air. This sleeker 4K UHD model costs just £6 when paid alongside a Sky TV package.

But it's the Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV that has won over Amazon customers, boasting a 4.4-star rating after more than 700 reviews.
One satisfied customer commented: "Great TV, I'm amazed. Functional, lightweight, so easy to wall mount, great apps and the picture quality is stunning. We've started playing visuals on YouTube whilst listening to music if having a night in and picture quality is perfect. Would buy this again in a heartbeat."
Another said: "For the price, I wasn't expecting much, but this TV exceeded all my expectations. The speakers are surprisingly good, response times are fast, and the picture quality is outstanding. Overall, a fantastic TV and great value for the money."
The same buyer noted: "The only minor downside is Samsung's OS. It's not my favourite, but it's manageable."
One glowing five-star review stated: "It's like having a cinema in your front room. The picture is so clear, the size is great, the screen is almost the whole TV, as there is a little border. The sound can be a bit off - while watching a show, you might have to turn it up or down on new episodes if you're binge-watching."
