Prime Video is bringing back a "hilarious and gripping" mystery series with a Hemsworth star welcomed for season two.

Two years have passed since global hit Australian series Deadloch first aired and now a second series is on the way, this time entering its "tropical gothic era".

Coming out on Friday, March 20, 2026, the six-part comedy will see Detectives Dulcie Collins (played by Kate Box) and Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) set up shop in the sweltering Top End, often referred to as the Northern Territory.

They are investigating the death of Eddie's former policing partner Bushy "but when the body of a local icon is discovered in a remote town, they are flung into a sweatier, stickier, croc-ier crime case".

Alongside the main cast Kate Box, Madeleine Sami, Nina Oyama and Alicia Gardiner, a Hemsworth will be starring in Deadloch season two.
