Death in Paradise bosses have taken to social media to share a very exciting announcement about the BBC series, and fans are thrilled.
On the show's official Instagram account, the show announced it had been nominated for an award. Along with a snap of the cast, the post read, "Very pleased to announce that Death in Paradise has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the TV Choice Awards 2026!
"@returntoparadiseofficial has also been nominated for Best New Drama!
"Make sure to vote by visiting www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk/vote. Voting will close at midnight on Sunday, 16th November!"
Fans were thrilled by the news and rushed to the comment section to send their messages of congratulations.
   "Very much deserved," one fan praised while another said, "Bravo!! My favourite programme."

Death in Paradise has wrapped up filming for the year with the new series expected to air early next year.
Actress Elizabeth Bougine confirmed filming has finished in her latest Instagram post.
On her Stories, the actress shared a picture of her character and Detective Mervin Wilson, who is played by EastEnders star Don Gilet.
She captioned the snap, "Last day in the police station." In another post, she shared a video of Catherine's Bar with the caption, "Last #shooting day in #catherinesbar #séries15 #deathinparadise."
