Andy Murray has signed a new partnership with potato brand Albert Bartlett as he continues to add new strings to his bow in retirement. The world No. 1 ended his career at the Olympics a year ago and briefly turned his hand to coaching, but he's spent most of the time on the golf course. Recently, he welcomed a new puppy into his family.

But it's back to business for Murray after confirming his latest brand deal. The 38-year-old will now star in a new Albert Bartlett campaign. Through their collaboration, they will also encourage a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Murray and Albert Bartlett announced the news of their partnership in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday.

"We're delighted to welcome Andy Murray to the Albert Bartlett family in a new long-term partnership between two Scottish-born, British icons," the potato supplier wrote in the caption.

"Andy will help us champion the message that healthy, nutritious food is for everyone: whether you're an athlete, a busy parent or just a good food lover.

"And we'll continue the partnership with our joint commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyles through access to sport.

"Andy is already training hard to Bring Out Your Best Side in our new brand campaign, coming October 2025..."

Murray already has links to Albert Bartlett, as they supply potatoes to Cromlix, a five-star hotel in Dunblane that is owned by the three-time Major winner and his wife, Kim.

Announcing the news of their partnership, Murray said: "I was lucky during my early playing days to have access to the kit and facilities required to play and develop and as my career progressed to have the best diet and training advice available.

"I am excited to partner with Albert Bartlett to showcase the importance of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle to communities across the UK. I hope the project inspires people to play and enjoy sport throughout their lives, at whatever level they are able."

The former world No. 1 will be plenty busy over the coming weeks. On top of his new brand deal, Murray has just adopted a new puppy. The Murray family previously had two dogs, Maggie May, who passed away in 2022, and Rusty, who died last year.

They've now welcomed a new pooch into their home. The two-time Olympic champion took to social media to share two snaps of the adorable brown dog and wrote: "New addition to the family."
