Prince Harry is recognisable across the globe, but staff at a Polish food van had no idea who he was when he paid a visit there just last week.
The Duke of Sussex dropped by for some fast food as he travelled through a Polish village on the border of Ukraine on 11 September.
He was on his way to Kyiv at the time, following his brief four-day stay in the UK. But when he stopped at the roadside food van, neither the staff nor the customers knew who he was.
Staff reportedly said that no one asked Harry for selfies or autographs, while the owners told Polish newspaper Fakt: "He was the most famous customer we didn't know we had."

It's thought that employees only realised that the Duke had visited their venue when they saw it in the newspapers. One staff member said: "My friend was shocked. 'What do you mean a prince? He only ordered fries?' If he ever comes back again, we'll treat him to a burger or casserole."
While Harry kept a low-profile on his way to Ukraine, he certainly managed to make headlines once he'd arrived. In a sit-down chat with The Guardian, the Duke insisted that his "conscience is clear" following his revealing memoir Spare.
He said: "I don't believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.
"I know that [speaking out] annoys some people and it goes against the narrative. The book? It was a series of corrections to stories already out there. One point of view had been put out and it needed to be corrected."

The Duke further shared how his wife, Meghan, always told him that truth 'is the most efficient way to live', explaining: "She said, 'Just stick to the truth.' It is the thing I always fall back on. Always. And if you think like that, who would be stupid enough to lie? It takes up too much time and effort."
His comments came just days after a short meeting with his father, King Charles, their first meeting since February 2024.
It's understood that, despite carrying out engagements in close proximity to each other, there was no meeting between Harry and his elder brother William, with the heir said to have no interest in seeing his estranged sibling.
