TV presenter Patrick Kielty has returned to work for the first time since his marriage split with Cat Deeley.
This Morning host Cat, 48, and Irish comedian, 54, and who share sons Milo, seven, and James, five, revealed last month that they had taken the decision to end their 13 year marriage, stressing that 'no other party' was involved.
The former couple shared a joint statement on July 29 that read: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment."
Tonight, Patrick will make his return to Irish television screens as he steps back into his role as host of The Late Late Show. The comedian is set to launch into his third season presenting the iconic chat show on the national broadcaster with his signature wit and warmth.

Sharing his excitement about his return to working on the Late Late Show after a four-month break, Patrick took to his Instagram stories to reveal who will be his first guests.
The much-loved TV host will be interviewing none other than Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell on the live show tonight as they promote their new movie, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.
Patrick revealed that he will also be chatting to Riverdance legend Michael Flatley, Rugby icon Conor Murray, and the former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson.
His return to the Late Late Show comes during a personal turning point. After relocating from the former marital home in London, Patrick has settled into what he refers to as a “divorce house” in Dundrum, County Down. Surrounded by a tight circle of friends and family, he has been finding stability and support amid the upheaval.

While Patrick is gearing up for his first show back tonight, his ex-wife Cat is still celebrating This Morning's win at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night. Cat, who presents the show alongside Ben Shephard, was named as the new permanent presenter after Holly Willoughby stepped away from the show after 11 years.
Patrick and Cat met while hosting BBC's Fame Academy together in 2002, but it wasn't until 2011 that they finally decided to take their friendship to a romantic level.
They proceeded to get married in Rome in 2012 and are parents to two sons, Milo and James.
