Shein has opened a pop-up store once again on London's Oxford Street after it proved a roaring success in 2023. It will be open until the end of the day today (Sunday, September 28) after opening its doors on Friday, and fans lucky enough to be local will be able to get their hands on pieces in real life, rather than waiting for delivery.
Angelina, who posts on TikTok as @angelina.pj, went down to the storeto see whether it was worth the trip, first saying that she had to queue for "15 minutes" to get in. However, she said that wasn't "too bad" considering the hype around the opening.
When she managed to get inside the store, she and her sister were keen to explore what groovy garments they could find, first rifling through the jewellery.

Angelina noted that "their jewellery is mostly gold," and she prefers silver, so it wasn't for her.
She then shared that they had a "really, really good selection" of clothes, adding: "There were coats, dresses, gym wear."
However, the prices of some items left her gobsmacked, as she admitted: "It was a bit more expensive than I thought."
Angelina then said that she saw a coat in the pop up for £70, and couldn't believe it.
Shein is well-known for its affordability and reliable customer reviews that tell you how something fits and whether it's worth the purchase.
So when Angelina saw that there was a jacket retailing for that much, she couldn't understand why.
"However, apparently they are doing 30% off, which I do think is really good," she admitted. This would make the jacket £49.
Angelina noted that there was a "really cool claw machine," and she managed to "get one of the balls" from it.
Inside the ball, she found two scrunchies, which she said "wasn't too shabby".
Angelina did say that "inside the store it was a bit crowded, and it was a lot smaller" than she'd anticipated.
"On social media, they [influencers] made it seem like it was the fattest store in the whole country, but it's okay because we ended the day with a cute little photo booth, which was for free," she gushed.
In the comments, people also couldn't believe some of the prices Angelina discussed in her video.
One wrote: "£70? SHEIN? They're having a giggle". Another suggested it could be "because they're collaborating with Missguided, which is [more] expensive."
Somebody pointed out that because they've got a temporary physical space, things would be "dearer" because they had to pay "overheads, rates, wages, etc."
But not everyone was happy. "£70 is crazy, online that would be about £15," another shopper fumed.
However, someone pointed out the benefits of shopping in store, saying you'd be able to "feel the material" and "get your size right straightaway".
Shein has been contacted for comment.
