The BBC has announced its guest line-up for the next week as stars from Doctor Who, Gavin and Stacey and Stranger Things take over its radio stations. As we head into the summer holidays, radio fans can expect a number of famous voices to hit the airwaves across Radio 2 and Radio 6 stars.
Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard will be appearing on Craig Charles' 6 Music show on Monday 28 July. The 22-year-old, who also performs in band The Aubreys outside of acting, is set to appear in the final series of Netflix's Stranger Things in November.

Gavin and Stacey's Alison Steadman will be joining Scott Mills Breakfast Show with Here We Go co-star Jim Howick on Wednesday. Rob Brydron will be joining them later in the morning as they host Radio 2's flagship show.

The following day, Doctor Who's Billie Piper will be joining her Wednesday co-star Joanna Lumley on the same show. The pair are arriving in the second season of Netflix's hit dark comedy as music teacher Isadora Capri and Wednesday's grandmother Grandmama respectively.
Last week, BBC Radio 2's rich list was revealed, with Scott Mills revealed to be taking on a pay rise. The new BBC Annual report shows Scott earned £355,000 - £359,999 in the annual accounts for 2024/25.
Meanwhile, Zoe Ball was revealed to be the Beeb's top earner with a salary of £515,000 to £519,000, followed by Vernon Kay who is on £355,000-£394,999. After Scott Milles, there's Sara Cox on £310,000-£314,000 and Jeremy Vineon £310,000 to £314,999.
Earlier this month, Vernon Kay missed the start of his BBC Radio 2 show after being "trapped" on a train in the heatwave. Sara Cox stayed onto cover the show, while Vernon wrote on Instagram: "Train isn't training!"
Sara told the Radio 2 listeners: "If you just joined in and you’re thinking Vernon is sounding a little extra-manly today, don’t worry. It’s me: Sara, from the same area obviously, though famously.
“Vernon, poor Vernon stuck on a hot, sweaty train with no coffee, no air-con, no deodorant. So he’s going to get in at some point, hopefully."
Earlier this week, BBC Radio 1 host Jack Saunders broke down as he announced the death of Ozzy Osbourne live on air. Sharing the news, Jack described the Black Sabbath singer as a "legend".
