Channel 4 unveils documentary on Ibiza Final Boss and you can stream it right now

A brand new documentary has just dropped on Channel 4's streaming service charting the rise of social media personality Jack Kay, better known as the Ibiza Final Boss.

The 20-minute long film, titled The Ibiza Final Boss: UNTOLD, has been made available to watch today (September 24) on Channel 4's catch-up service.

Its synopsis teases: "Documentary following viral sensation Jack Kay - aka the Ibiza Final Boss - investigating how much money you can make when a spontaneous moment caught on social media makes you infamous."

Newcastle-based construction worker Jack, 26, was thrust into the spotlight this summer after a clip of him dancing on the party island went viral on TikTok thanks to his distinctive appearance, which comprised of a bowl haircut and thick chain.

The eight-second clip has now been viewed millions of times and he has become an enduring meme with brands even using his likeness to promote their products. Holiday firm On the Beach even promoted Ibiza holidays with a poster featuring his haircut as a beach umbrella, along with the words: "Face the Final Boss."

Channel 4's new documentary meets Jack face-to-face, and accompanies him to his barber appointment as he maintains his now famous trim. There is also a chat with his agent, Dave Reed, who discusses his client's skyrocketing fame.

According to the broadcaster: "We meet Jack as he visits his barber in Newcastle to maintain his iconic trim – now one of the most famous haircuts in the world. We also meet Jack’s agent, Dave Reed – a top talent scout known for his work with the cast of The Only Way Is Essex – who says the media interest in Jack has superseded anything he’s experienced with other clients during his 20-year career.

"The cameras follow Jack as he returns to Ibiza to reunite with the man who captured the original video that sent him viral, now selling his own line of Ibiza Final Boss merch.

"With the temptations of the party island being offered up to him – and a suddenly bigger budget to enjoy them with – Jack is warned that outlasting the algorithm means striking a delicate balance between partying and work opportunities. But will he take the advice?"
