The Mankhurd police have filed a case against two individuals accused of assaulting a 16-year-old boy, forcing him to perform obscene acts, and then recording and circulating a video of the incident. One of the accused, who is also a minor, has been apprehended and sent to the Children's Observation Home in Dongri. The search for the second suspect is currently underway.
POCSO Act Invoked
According to the police, a case has been filed under sections 115(2), 127(1), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, along with relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, based on a complaint from the victim's father.
Obscene Video Viral
The complaint states that the accused took the minor victim to a shop inside a local shopping center. There, they allegedly subjected him to a physical assault before forcing him to engage in indecent acts. The perpetrators then recorded these acts on a mobile phone and later distributed the video to people in the vicinity.

The family of the victim promptly approached the Mankhurd police upon discovering the incident. Following the complaint, police initiated an investigation and began a search for the suspects. They have successfully detained the minor accused and seized his mobile phone as evidence.
Police confirmed that the hunt for the second accused is ongoing, and a detailed investigation is being conducted into the matter.
