Delhi Metro Fare Hike:: Delhi Metro passengers will now pay slightly higher fares as the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has revised ticket prices with effect from Monday, August 25, 2025.
The increase ranges between Rs 1 and Rs 4 depending on the distance travelled. On the Airport Express Line, the hike goes up to Rs 5, said the DMRC in its official memo.
“A nominal fare increase has been implemented across the network, including the Airport Express Line, to meet rising operational and maintenance costs," DMRC said in an announcement on social media platform X on Monday.
