The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the UGC NET December 2025 application form from November 10, 2025. Candidates who made any errors in their application information can make corrections to their form until November 12, 2025, at 11:59 pm. This correction process is ongoing on the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can make necessary changes to the form using their login ID and password or date of birth.
The NTA has clarified that this is a one-time opportunity. This means that candidates will be able to make changes to their form only once. Once the revised form is submitted, it will be frozen, and no further corrections will be possible. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully check all information before submitting the form.
In the correction window, candidates can update only certain information on their application form. These include date of birth, category, father's name, and mother's name. If there are any errors in these details, this is the right time to correct them.
These details will not be subject to change.
There are some details that cannot be changed under any circumstances. These include the candidate's name, gender, photo, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent and temporary address, and exam city. These details will be kept the same as they were entered when applying.
These are the steps to follow.
Candidates who wish to make corrections to their application can do so through a very simple process. To do this, they must first visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in. There, on the homepage, they will find a link labeled "UGC NET December 2025 Application Correction" or "Correction Window." After clicking on it, candidates must log in with their registration number and password or date of birth.
They can now make changes to the information approved by the NTA. After making the changes, carefully recheck the form and, when everything appears correct, press the "Submit" button to complete the final submission. Finally, keep a printout of the form for future reference.
